We have advised companies on RBI licensing, cross-border payments regulation, DPDP compliance programmes, and technology contracts. Every matter is handled directly by our founder, a former General Counsel with twelve years of experience across Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Trilegal, and Xflow.
Meet the Founder
DRN Legal was founded by Deepthi Rajeev, a technology lawyer, with over 11 years of experience across leading law firms and in-house legal leadership roles.
Deepthi graduated with B.A., LL.B (Hons.) from the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore in 2014. She began her legal career at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, where she focused on financial services regulations. She later joined Trilegal’s Technology, Media and Telecom (TMT) practice, advising leading tech companies on complex digital business models, data protection and regulatory compliance in emerging sectors.
In 2022, Deepthi assumed the role of General Counsel at Xflow, a cross-border payments startup, where she was responsible for establishing and leading the legal and regulatory function. In this role, she engaged with key regulators such as the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA), and the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
Deepthi is enrolled with the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa.
